2007 Toyota 200 Results: Jason Curtis wins Fast Qualifier, finishes 3rd overall.

Jason Curtis braved Willow Springs, the "Fastest Road in the West" for 200 miles, in a duel that awarded $150,000 to its competitors. Starting from the 3rd position, behind Jeremy Toye and Jason Pridmore, Curtis staged a battle for the lead and finished strong on his Dunlop shod No Limit Motorsports GSX-R 1000 .

During the red flag plagued event (Including an exploding R6 in turn 2 compliments of Fabrice Vilder), tires played a major role in deciding the eventual finishers. After the final red flag, Curtis was left without any more Dunlop tires appropriate for conditions. He and his crew concluded his best option was to continue using his "well used" tires that were ridden on during 20+ laps prior to the red flag. This decision proved disasterous for his hopes of winning the race, and he had to limp the bike home to an unfortunate, yet skillful 3rd place behind Jeremy Toye and WSBK regular "Kuba" Smrz.

Although sent home with a check for $10,000 and a big trophy, Curtis plans on returning to Willow Springs in 2008 to contest yet again for the top of the Toyota 200 podium, and the top prize of $50,000.

Jason Curtis, and No Limit Motorsports would like to thank his parents, Ben and Dianne Curtis for their continued support, as well as Poncho Rangel and Alex Vargas, his mechanics. Furthermore, this result could not have been accomplished without the help of his pit crew comprised of friends and family. During their pit stops, they refueled his No Limit Motorsports GSX-R 1000, changed front and rear wheels, and provided hydration in less than 20 seconds.
