NLA: Teddy, as the newest member of the NLA Family we'd like to welcome you aboard. What made you choose NLA as a sponsor?

Teddy: Well, Eric my agent with 2A Managment rounded this deal up with you guys. I like the style of NLA so I was really excited to start a relationship with you guys at NLA.

NLA: What got you into riding?

Teddy: My hometown here in Fort Dodge Iowa has some of the best riding around and it all started with my dad. He had a three wheeler and when my brother and I got old enough to ride we got some bikes and raced at the local Fair Grounds and it all took off from there.

NLA: How did you progress from just going out riding to getting serious about racing?

Teddy: I was serious about motocross the first time I rode a bike. Thats all I wanted to do, When I got home from school my brother and I went riding.

NLA: Who was your idol as a kid?

Teddy: My idol was Chad Pederson, he grew up here in my hometown and I wanted to be just like him.

NLA: What would you say the highlight of your career was?

Teddy: The highlight probably was when I got my Team Green Kawasaki deal in 2000. That was a big step for me.

NLA: Currently you race in the Arenacross series, hows that working out for you?

Teddy: Arenacross is so tight. Like they say, motocross in a fish bowl. Its super hard to stay consistent, starts are very critical and thats what I struggle with. Im sitting Fourth in points with four rounds to go and I want to end this series very strong so I can step up the ladder and do bigger things next year.

NLA: So, you won in Dallas. How did that feel?

Teddy: Dallas was a very busy weekend cause I raced in Baltimore Maryland friday night and only got three hours of sleep. We had to catch a flight to dallas early in the morning where I had another bike there for me to race. I felt very strong in dallas, not all the fast guys were there, but I needed to catch up on some points that I lost early in the season. I lapped all the way up to third place so I was super pumped about that!

NLA: Ive seen interviews with you in other magazines and sites, it seems like the only thing holding you back in the past were your starts. How are those working out?

Teddy: Yeah, its got a lot to do with a mental thing. I just seem to think too much about stuff instead of just going out there and doing it. I feel like I am getting better. I actually got the holeshot the other weekend in Youngstown Ohio, and thats what I need for my confidence.

NLA: What are your goals for next season, anything in the works?

Teddy: I signed a deal with Leading Edge Kawasaki to go up to Canada and race the MX2 class. Im really excited to start fresh and I know im gonna do good. My goal is to dominate up in Canada and get something going for Supercross and the Nationals here in the U.S. for 08 and 09

NLA: Congratulations on doing well so far this season. We'll all be cheering you on here at NLA.

Teddy: Im pumped to be supporting NLA this year and I'll do my best.  Thanks
