NLA is sponsoring a Six Man Volleyball Team! Go Support them August 2nd and 3rd!!
NLA is supporting a team of 6 Women during the Manhattan Pier Beach festival August 1st - 3rd. Its a huge festival that has all sorts of different activities for all to get involved with, including this great volleyball tournament! Be sure to head out there to enjoy the beach, stop by the NLA booth and watch some great volleyball!

About the team:
Jessie and Sarah both played volleyball at Division I schools, Jessie played at Western Kentucky and Sarah played at Dartmouth. Sara, Jamie and Janelle all moved here about 3 years ago and are the official "captains." And finally, Erin, Jennifer, and Ashley are the teams"social coordinators" because they always set up the team practices (and find the best happy hour specials after our practices). Everybody on the team is employed full-time and enjoying hanging out at the beach, enjoying the local music scene, and bumming around on thteir beach cruisers during the weekends. Also, they're all relatively new to Los Angeles and have moved here from Missouri, San Francisco, New York, and Indiana.
