NLA and No Limit Motorsports rider Jason Curtis left his
mark at Willow Springs again this past weekend, scoring wins in Open Superbike,
Open Superstock, and Open Modified Production. For the second month in a row,
Jason also set a class lap record, this time in Open Modified Production with a
blisteringly fast 1:21.822. Thanks to such a quick pace, he won the race with a
gap of 12.7 seconds over second place Chris Duran.
Curtis Currently holds 2 Lap records at
Willow Springs, with a 1:21.268 for Open Superstock.
Unfortunately,
while battling setup problems all weekend, Jason had to settle for a well
fought 3rd place in the Toyota Cup Unlimited Formula 1 Race,
finishing just 6 tenths of a second behind winner, and 2007 Formula 1 Champion
Jeremy Toye and 2008 #1 Plate Karl Lowry.
During the race there was a change of position on nearly every lap, with
the top 3 riders riding nearly single file for the entire distance of the 12
lap race.
Curtis
plans on attending select rounds of the 2008 WSMC Series, contesting for more
race wins and attempting to add his name to the club history with even more lap
records.
